Your membership

The Last Broadcast is free from beginning to end. The £4.99 monthly membership gives your signed-in account access to The Harbour Ledger, The Empty Spotlight, The Night Train and The Glasshouse Protocol during your paid period. The Ninth Tide and dedicated Android and iPhone apps are coming soon. No release date or future case frequency is promised.

Recurring payments

Membership renews monthly until cancelled. There is no annual commitment or paid trial. Review the recurring amount and billing details on Stripe Checkout before paying; you may correct your details or leave checkout without purchasing. Stripe may offer a local-currency amount. Review its currency, recurring total and billing date before paying. The base £4.99 price includes applicable sales tax.

How to join

  1. Sign in to link membership to your account.
  2. Read these terms, the privacy notice and the cancellation policy.
  3. Review the order on Stripe Checkout and use its payment button to confirm a recurring purchase.
  4. After successful payment is verified, return to the case library using the same account.

Using the games

The games are in English and require internet access and a current web browser. Progress and notes remain on the device and browser you use; they do not sync across devices. Clearing storage may delete saves. Membership gives access, not a permanent download. Use the games for personal entertainment; do not resell the games or share your account.

The stories contain fictional crime and deception, including non-graphic murder descriptions in some cases. The age-14 recommendation describes content suitability. An adult should make subscription purchases.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancel future renewals through Manage membership on the membership page. Access continues until the paid period ends. You can also email support if the portal is unavailable. Read our cancellation and refund policy for the initial 14-day cancellation offer and rights relating to faulty content.

Problems and changes

Contact support if a game or paid access is not working. We may correct errors and update games. We will not remove your statutory rights. Material changes to a paid offer must be explained before taking a payment under the changed offer; you can cancel future renewals.

Your rights and disputes

Nothing here excludes rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law, including for digital content that is faulty, not as described or not supplied. Scottish law applies subject to mandatory consumer protections and your rights to use courts available to you where you live. Contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem.

You can save or print this page using your browser. Policy version: 10 October 2026.

Payments, taxes and currency

The base membership price is £4.99 per month including applicable sales tax. Stripe Managed Payments acts as merchant of record for membership payments and handles applicable sales taxes in its supported jurisdictions. It may offer a local-currency amount; review the currency, recurring total and billing date shown at Checkout before confirming. Your Stripe receipt and subscription details show the agreed payment amount. Availability is subject to Stripe's supported countries and eligibility rules. The Silent Casebook remains responsible for game access and game support. Payment processing also follows the merchant-of-record terms shown at Checkout. Manage future renewals from our membership page or the subscription-management link provided by Stripe. Contact our support email for the initial 14-day refund offer; we will arrange eligible refunds through the payment provider. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
